Michael Marrotte
Mike has been working in the CPG space for over 35 years and his unique job experiences with manufacturers, distributors, brokers, and retailers allow him to fully understand all aspects of how to bring a brand to market, to accelerate growth, and provide a road map, insight, and solutions to the challenges companies will encounter along the way.
For the last 8 years, he has helped over 100 CEO’s and brand Founders realize expanded and national distribution across multiple customer channels through his own consulting practice and more recently with the BeyondBrands team. He has worked with brands in dry grocery, dairy, frozen foods, health & beauty care, and supplements. He has also advised these companies on brand development, product merchandising, supply chain, and marketing areas of the business.
Mike is a former partner at ilevel Brands Inc, a cutting-edge national contract sales management company specializing in providing transparent high-impact brand representation for natural products companies. As a Partner and Board of Director member, he was responsible for assisting with new business and sales development and advising on overall company strategy, infrastructure, and distributor/customer management to support the long-term company vision to re-invent the broken natural products broker model of the 1980's into a state-of-the-art contract sales partner.
He recently helped develop and launch a California based cannabis distribution company as well as currently providing support for emerging high-growth brands and ingredient companies in the CBD space.
He previously served as the United Natural Foods, Eastern Region Vice President of Sales and Customer Service where he managed over $2.5B in revenue and led a team of 200+ team members. He started his sales career at Procter & Gamble and has held senior sales leadership roles with Nestle/Purina and Pinnacle Foods Corporation.
