Vanessa Ordway
Vanessa Ordway is a seasoned sales leader with 20 years of CPG food and beverage sales and strategy experience across competitive CPG categories inclusive of the natural supplement space. Vanessa has worked across both HQ and field-facing sales leadership roles over her 20-year career for companies like Pepsico, Danone, and Miller Coors. She currently works for Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream. The unique value she brings to the industry is her tremendous knowledge and expertise across all facets of the selling process from start to finish. Vanessa has a proven track record in driving distribution and execution across both new and existing channels and markets. Over her 20 years, Vanessa has worked in some critical roles for her organizations which include: Distributor Management where she developed a deep understanding of the DSD Go-To-Market network, Sales Strategy at Pepsico where she was responsible for the full commercialization of new items from concept to shelf, Director of New York City Go-To-Market strategy and execution where she was tasked with finding and partnering with a distributor network/infrastructure to sell her company’s products throughout the up and down the street business in NYC, launching a U.S. in-store retail team in partnership with a broker network and as the Head of U.S. Sales for Vega, the #1 plant-based protein powder in the U.S. Vanessa is currently the Head of Sales, national grocery for Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream. This sales leadership role allows her to have a deep understanding of the key strategic grocery customers across the U.S. and gives her insight and knowledge in how to win across those retailers. Vanessa holds an MBA from Fordham University and her undergraduate degree in marketing from Penn State University.
