Teddie Townsed
Teddie’s career has been dedicated to the consumer industry. Since joining Sawaya Partners in 2012, she has been actively involved in advising public companies, private companies, and financial sponsors on a variety of sell-side, buy-side, and corporate divestiture transactions across the consumer industry.
Teddie leads Sawaya’s Emerging group and is actively involved in the Health & Wellness M&A practice. Over the course of her career, she has worked with brands such as babyganics, Method Home, J&J, Plan B, and Stonewall Kitchen. Teddie is passionate about consumer brands and helping to realize their fill potential.
Sawaya Partners is a leading advisor in the consumer industry, most recently advising Bayer on the sale of the Coppertone brand to Beiersdorf and Dr. Scholl’s brand to Yellow Wood Partners, Johnson & Johnson Consumer on the sales of the RoC brand to Gryphon Investors, The Carlyle Group and TA Associates on their acquisition of Weiman Products, and Foundation Consumer Healthcare and its two private equity investors, Juggernaut Capital Partners and Kelso & Company, on the acquisition of Plan B One-Step and select other emergency contraception brands from Teva Pharmaceutical.
