Russel Kohn

Russell Kohn is the founder of Pale Blue Dot Partners, a finance and operations consultancy that supports early stage CPG brands, including Kosterina, Seed + Mill, and Grubbly Farms. Pale Blue Dot is founded on the principal that operations and finance are inextricably tied, and managing one requires an intimate understanding of the other.

Prior to launching Pale Blue Dot, Russell was Founding Partner & General Manager of Free Rain, functional sparkling water; COO & CFO of Mochidoki, premium mochi ice cream; and Co-founder of Brooklyn Kura, New York’s first sake brewery. Russell started his career as an investment analyst at mutual fund company Ariel Investments and hedge fund Fine Capital Partners. In his spare time, Russell serves on the board of Brotherhood Synagogue in Manhattan.

Russell holds a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
